Federal limits are printed in an area on the sectional margin. State restrictions are located near the area concerned. Sometimes the altitudes are different but generally 2000’ AGL is required. The areas have an extended row of dots about the perimeter. The Greater Monterey Coast area of 4,024 square nautical miles has a possible $50,000 fine for any flight below 1000’.
