I am working to convert all of the databases to MySQL. I have had a lot of success working with MySQL on many of my other projects. I am also sketching out a cross country flight planning tutorial to help learn the ins and outs of filling out a flight plan. From conversations with students at this website, flight planning is one of the most frustrating components of flight training
In other news, I have installed an apple wireless network in my house, and I can now update 4vfr.com from my G4 laptop, while sitting on the couch in the livingroom. Technology is great!

I have a new registration system in production that will replace the "enter your email address" system. We have had a great number of people abuse the email system, so I have decided to convert everything over to student accounts. Once you register for an account on our system, it will be able to keep track of you and your tests. I want to offer the best experience possible for the people who use our system, while preventing access to the people who feel its necessary to abuse it!

Its time for production to re-start (at least on a limited basis for 4vfr.com. I am going to be dedicating an hour a day towards the completion of the next phase of this project. Lots of great things in store!
